A.R. Cornish Chapter No. 121 is the sister chapter of Jerusalem Military Lodge #100 in the Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliated. The Order is the largest fraternal organisation in the world to which both men and women belong, and its chapters work alongside the lodges of the jurisdiction.
The chapter carries the name of Sister Alma Ruth Cornish, who served as Worthy Matron of Star of the West Chapter #23 and became the first Grand Worthy Matron of Jerusalem Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliated, constituted on the first of January, 2009.
Among the occasions in the lodge’s year is the Black and White Banquet, kept in fellowship with the sisters of the Eastern Star.
